What: The Waste Management Phoenix Open has not-so-quietly made its way into the Valley of the Sun, and today is the official start of the 1st round. General admission tickets are $25.

When: Today, February 25th from 7am-8pm. The event continues through Sunday, February 28th.

Rock It: Bob Schneider at the Rhythm Room

What: Bob Schneider is at the Rhythm Room tonight. Enjoy the singer songwriters guitar driven tunes that have been said to inspire the likes of Jason Mraz. Schneider has been on the scene for over ten years, taking his funky folk rock on tour with the Dave Matthews Band and Sheryl Crow. Admission $24.

{Climb for a Cure}

Good Cause: Climb to Conquer Cancer Phoenix

What: Hike 5 miles to the top of South mountain and support The American Cancer Society. Don't worry, you can take a bus down, if you want. Pre-registration is $40 and will be available online until the end of the day, Thursday Feb. 25th. Event day registration is $50.

When: Saturday, February 27th at 7am with a rolling start.

Where: South Mountain Park, Phoenix
